These are a collection of screenshots from the very earliest version of the game.
It was a promising demo, but there wasn’t much to it. We had maybe 5-7 monsters, only two tilesets, and only some 8 or so levels in this version. A big part of why we didn’t have much was that at the time, we hadn’t yet set up the infrastructure for adding new stuff – chiefly, we didn’t have our general-purpose “objects”, which meant any unusual behavior required changing the C++, rather than writing bits of FFL (Frogatto Formula Language) scripting.
