Frogatto & Friends

Frogatto sprite Avilable on the App Store

Frogatto & Friends is an action-adventure game, starring a certain quixotic frog. Give it a try!
We're trying to push 2D platforming, pixel-art, and music into uncharted territory. We hope you like the results!
Also, Frogatto has a very flexible game engine you can use to make your own creations.

Almost there!

June 24th, 2010 by Jetrel

We’re within a stone’s throw of a release candidate. Any day now! We’re just tying off the very last loose ends.

If you’re interested in beta testing, or spreading the word, please do get in touch with us. We’re just a small indie team, with no marketing experience, so we could use all the help we can get.

I realize our contact page is a little anemic at the moment, and more traditional means of communication, such as an official email address for our dev team, might be in order. 😐

Do you have any banner or signature template we could use to promote yoru fantastic game ?

Oh and if you have a big pixel art picture/poster it would be awesome as well, the graphical style of Frogatto is incredible.

I would like to help you testing the game and spreading the word. Since I’am an Indie fan and voluntary of the Overt-Ops (http://www.wolfire.com/overt-ops) – I know a few sites which would be willing & interested about a report of Froggato 🙂

    One small glitch to report.
I spitted the silger key underwater (right before the gate) and I can not pick it up again.

  4. Ben says:

This isn’t really a glitch; you can go back and get the key from where it was. Perhaps we should handle this differently, but it’s very unlikely we’ll change something like that before release.

Not yet, but I should make a small set of banners. Shouldn’t be hard for me to adapt a few from the top-page title bar here.

If it’s one thing I love about indie games, is that they keep the spirit of old-school 2D gaming alive and VERY well! I simply can’t wait until this is released! You’ve done top-quality work here!

Thanks! It was a lot of work. 😐

Commented on it on BfW’s forums, but just thought I’d say it on here too: I tried Frogatto, but it crashes whenever I try to leave Frogatto’s house (the place you start in), be it from the front or back door. I downloaded the latest version and am running Mac OSX 10.4.11.

Keep up the good work 🙂

Well that’s not good! Thanks for letting us know; I’ll test on my 10.4 computer soon.

Hello i would like to help!!

What is your email? Do you have twitter?
    Thanks 😉

  11. Ben says:

Thanks for reminding me – I just made the twitter account, but I haven’t used it for anything yet. While I was at it, I made an email account, which I’ll post on the contact page in a minute.
